Legislative Advocacy

The systems that impact the lives of people with developmental disabilities are governed by laws and regulations. One of the best ways we can make change to these systems is at the legislative level – by educating and putting pressure on our representatives, providing data and expertise to committees, and making sure that our policymakers hear the stories of self-advocates and families.
